Roman A. Ringel, M.D.

BOARD CERTIFIED
Dr. Roman A. Ringel is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He has been in private practice since 1984. He specializes in cosmetic procedures as well as reconstruction and trauma.

EDUCATION
Dr. Ringel attended Case Western Reserve University where he completed undergraduate, post-graduate and medical degrees. His internship was at the University of Colorado. His residencies were at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Akron City Hospital and University Hospital of Cleveland. His credentials include training at the highly regarded Manhattan Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New York. This practical experience distinguishes him as an accomplished plastic surgeon.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
Dr. Ringel is diverse in his interests and uses his free time to serve others. He has participated in an overseas medical mission in the Philippines where he helped people who would otherwise have gone untreated for their deformities. He currently serves as the team physician for a number of local hockey programs. He puts his talents to use when a player, coach or referee is injured.

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
Continuing education is pursued by Dr. Ringel each year as he attends seminars to learn more about the newest techniques in plastic surgery.

MEMBERSHIPS
Dr. Ringel is a member in good standing of the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lorain County Medical Society, and the Ohio State Medical Association.

PERSONALITY
Dr. Ringel answers all questions in lay terms and is very available to his patients in follow-up. Dr. Ringel is a highly skilled plastic surgeon and is very down to earth. These assets give his patients a comfortable feeling about putting their trust in Dr. Ringel.
